Your day at TagsforHope

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Product Photographer to join our creative team, specializing in pet accessory photography.

The bulk of the job requires you to organize product-focused photoshoots with pets (mostly dogs), and human models, and then edit and curate the content afterwards. The focus will always be on the pet products we create, but the goal is to create lifestyle themes that match our brand identity.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Organize and conduct professional product-focused photo shoots, emphasizing pet accessories.
• Coordinate the logistics of shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and model (canine and human) management.
• Photograph products on dog models, capturing the functionality and style of each item.
• Edit photos to meet brand standards and creative expectations using professional photo editing software.
• Develop and maintain a roster of canine and human models suitable for various types of pet accessories and photoshoots.
• Collaborate with our marketing team to understand product highlights and to ensure the visual content aligns with our brand’s strategy.
• Manage digital assets, ensuring all imagery is organized and easily accessible for marketing and product teams.

Who We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a professional product photographer; portfolio required.
• Experience in handling photo shoots with animal models, particularly dogs, in a way that emphasizes the product. Check out our Instagram to see examples of what we’re expecting
  
• Proficient in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
  
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage shoot schedules and model rosters effectively. This job requires you to be good with people so that you can positively and effectively direct them (and their pets) to get the necessary content
  
• Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic shooting environments and model behaviors
  
• Videography and video editing skills are a plus
  
• Experience with a Canon camera is preferred.
• Flexible work schedule. Generally, we’re aiming for a stable 9-5 schedule, but lots of photoshoots can only happen on weekends based on model availability and weather.
